Support while you look for work
JobSeeker Payment is for people aged 22 up to Age Pension age who are looking for work or can’t work full-time because of a health condition. It’s income tested, and your partner’s income and your assets can affect it too.
If you work part-time while you look for more hours, you keep part of what you earn. The work and income planner shows how your total income changes at different levels of pay. If you rent, you may also get Rent Assistance.
