Youth Allowance helps full-time students and Australian Apprentices aged 16 to 24, and young job seekers aged 16 to 21. How much you get depends on your age, where you live, your own income and, if you’re treated as dependent, your parents’ income.

If you get a payment like the Disability Support Pension or Parenting Payment and you study, the Pensioner Education Supplement can help with study costs.
